I became present to my resistance. I was talking to my health coach who was having me face something when I rudely interrupted saying no that’s not the case. She listened, acknowledged, and said something… Sadly I don’t know what she said because I was suddenly present to my resistance.
Over the past 2 years I mistreated my body and aggravated and amplified health issues. This year I vowed to improve my health.
I started by thinking I MUST LOSE WEIGHT, eat better and workout. Suddenly cravings appeared! For foods I hadn’t eaten regularly IN YEARS! 😳 cookies, m&ms and bread were constantly in the forefront of my mind! I started a Optimal Health Reset and committed to cleanse for 2 weeks. All the empty calorie foods were finished and replaced by nutrient rich foods.
Yesterday I became present to “losing weight” and “having the perfect body” are the byproducts of physical health. They are the byproducts NOT THE GOALS! The shift was sudden and small but impactful: I get to eat nutrient rich foods – I can afford it and am learning how to prepare some really tasty meals. I get to workout – I am still physically able to move my body.
My coach BRILLIANTLY said today: find that body that’s yours. That’s beautiful and strong. Yours is the perfect body.
Each time I want to share, I have to remind myself that sharing isn’t only for me but also to the community that’s listening. Thank you for allowing me to share and please feel free to share your experience. I look forward to learning about you and connecting with you.
